The story is about an artificial lifeform called Si’rak. Si’rak is designed with the purpose to explore, but all he could explore was a laboratory and then he would be restarted again and again, until one day he is left with a clue to a secret path. He picks up on this secret path, which really is just a ventilation shaft, and finds out about the outside world.

The outside world is complex and harsh towards the ignorant. Si’rak meets a duo deuscodians who shelter him and indoctrinate him into helping them with their mission. On one mission Si’rak learns the nature of doubt and starts doubting himself and his fellow deuscodians. He experiences betrayal and is almost left for dead before he gets captured by the notorious NPD hunter Miss Arte.

Upon his return back to the laboratory he is met with the unfortunate news that he would have to be restarted with no memory of this run, of his life. Upon meeting his maker - the alien Shi’rai “Kaiser Mutter”, Si’rak convinces her to let him keep his memory and experience instead of being restarted ever again.

 (1) A character is comfortable (2) but they see something they want, (3) So they head out into uncharted territory to get it (4) but have to change in order to succeed. (5) When they finally grasp it, (6) they pay a hefty price (7) and return to their original situation (8) having changed inside (and sometimes outside).

(1) Introduction to Neoterra and Si’rak’s repetitious life exploring the laboratory of his creation.
(2) He sees a maintenance robot installing a new panel for the ventilation shaft and questions if its part of his task. He reaches an airshaft that leads to the outside of the building. He is faced with a breathtaking view from the 177th floor of the city of Neoterra, his first view of the outside world.
(3) Si’rak makes the choice of jumping down with a chance of finding out more about the city. Causing an inciting incident with the police.
(4)  His first encounters with the other living beings in the city leaves him with an impression that he has to find a way to communicate with them in order to learn more about where he is. Si’rak stumbles upon a religious group of people and after an initial confrontation he is shown the Bible forced to learn about it. This causes the religious group to find a way to make him understand language by explaining it. He begins going on missions with these religious groups.
(5) There is a time skip, consisting of flashes of his missions and study of the language. At one mission he realizes that what this religious group does is not in fact god’s work but instead terrorism.
(6) Si’rak decides to confront the group about their beliefs and actions and informs them of his intention of leaving. At this point the police catches up with them and in the middle of their conflict, the group decides to leave Si’rak as bait for the police.
(7) The police picks up Si’rak after a short confrontation. As he is being taken into custody, the police gets informed that a government organization will take in the case. He is brought back to the laboratory. The Kaiser Mutter is being warned with a ban for her creations if they get out of the laboratory and ordered to restart Si’rak’s life.
(8) After a conversation with Si’rak, the Kaiser Mutter gets convinced to not restart him for the first time ever and let him keep his memory of his life outside.

Character development

Si’rak

Si’rak starts from the laboratory with no intention of doing anything else besides exploring. He starts with no belief system that guides his decisions, it is pure curiosity. He is stuck in a laboratory so he knows very little of the real world. At the end of Act 1 Si’rak gets to see the outside world where he makes his first life altering choice- to leave the laboratory, his only known world.

With his start of this journey he causes trouble for the police but to his current lack of concept for morals he is not affected by it. He starts exploring the city to find out that the people inhabiting it are using some form of information exchange- speech, language. For someone curious to learn more, knowing their language would certainly open more possibilities of faster learning of the world. He also is curious what caused this world, this city, this society. Overwhelmed by the many factors and remembering that the lab people are probably after him, he looks for a place to hide, encountering a religious fanatic group. Through spending time with them on their missions he manages to learn the language and thus be introduced to the complexity of the human behaviour.

There is a time skip which ends with him being on a mission and embarking in casual conversations with his teammates, but then deciding to confront them about their ideals, Si’rak shows his moral standpoint for the first time, something he never had. His better understanding of this world had given him an ego that can now partake in decisions.

After being taken back to the lab, Si’rak gets to keep his memories for the first time ever.

The Kaiser Mutter

Not much can be said about her. She would appear in the beginning and end of story. Her character is mysterious so the decision to not restart Si’rak for the first time ever doesn’t tell us much more about her. Maybe she did such exceptions before too and is nothing new for her. Maybe she has ulterior motives to keep his memory intact. There is nothing much said about her either, the only information we get on her is her mental communication with Si’rak in the beginning and the conversation they have at the end.

Deuscodians

The Deuscodians are a sub-group of the Neo-Christian Church that deals with extreme affairs, that often require brute force to be used in order to spread the ideals of this countermovement. They promote views that are anti-development of AI as it is a nonbiblical imitation of god. They believe god already exists and any attempts to create a fake one would bring the wrath of god in one form or another. He would not be pleased by people’s doing and unleash his fury through this new AI to punish them.

The group of the religious zealots is portrayed mainly through the 2 characters – Eliore and Ezek. They introduce their ideals to Si’rak as truthful and rightful, giving him the initial impression of good faith. Through their shortly expressed journey on missions together it is shown that the Deuscodians are actually twisting the truth in their benefit but also straying from the ultimate message of the book they follow – the Bible.

Inquisitor Ezek

He is the character of action, he approaches Si’rak first and physically confronts him before being stopped by Elior. He is impatient and ready to act physically. His pride is as big as the armor suit he is wearing. He has a hatred for mechanized lifeforms, which means all robots, AI, androids and partially cyborgs. He believes that life should only exist in its pure organic form and all artificial attempts to replicate that are soulless beings that have no comparable worth to life. His hatred for robots aligns with the Deuscodians’s view of life and he finds himself the perfect crusader to spread this counter movement.

Dataprophet Elior

Elior is born to a neo-christian family and grew up in an environment with a lack of sophisticated AI. They were taught realistic principles and not to rely on AI, or any modern sophisticated technology. The technology their family would use would be traditional human technology from the beginning of the 21st century with the exception of the then growing computers and VR devices. They were taught in an elite traditional school in mental calculating (MC). MC is a method which the traditional realists would use to battle the newly found MAC technology. People taught in MC would have a very keen mental processing power and manage to keep a lot of variables in mind when making elaborate decisions. They would basically be very smart, but smart about knowing necessary information to complete a task. That means they would need to be able to quickly grasp different facts from different theological principals. Elior does all that in their head. They also believe in that synthetic lifeforms have no soul and therefore do not deserve equal respect and treatment as humans. This view is shared in their community of traditional realists.

Too much backstory and not any about the character development…

World Building

Neoterra is futuristic and idealistic metropolis. The whole area consists of multiple sub-cities each one of them having a circle shape when viewed from above. In between the cities are the suburban, lower class areas. The city outer circle consists of a very wide and complex highway that connects to all the surrounding cities and even leading to outside of the metropolis. Neoterra is idealistic in the sense that these circle cities together form the image of soap bubbles in different sizes when viewed from above. All of their outer circle highways would connect at some point, and the dead space would be the before-mentioned suburban areas. Parks would also most often be located in these areas. The other idealistic aspect of this metropolis is if you view a city skyline from the side, the buildings at the outer regions would be the lowest and the ones in the middle of the city where the center is, would be tallest. The progression of the buildings sizes formed a sort of an arch, but this if possible, could also be viewed going downwards into the ground. The close you get to a city’s center, the lower into the ground you could go, making the height difference from the bottom of the city to its top in the center quite high, like a kilometre.

Outline

The beginning page consists of a zoom in of the circle part of the city from above mimicking the eyes of a person, this transitions into circular eyes that belong to Si’rak. His eyes are two empty circular sockets on his skull which gave no specific impression.

“ I will be out for a bit… you can keep on exploring “

  1. Si’rak is exploring the laboratory of his creation

  • He is looking at the walls and ground of the laboratory.

  • He sees objects like complex boxes slightly bigger than him.

  • These boxes are actually 3d printers.

  • He thinks how this is probably a machine involved in his creation

  • He continues walking around the hallways.

  • He sees a door and enters it

  • Inside is a room of unclear purpose, another part of the studio lab

  • He looks at a scoreboard showing which literation he is of himself alongside the time it took him to learn everything about this place

  • He checks the watch and sees the time to be halfway of the current best record, his last time.

  • He goes out and continues down the hallway

  1. Si’rak wants to find out what the outside is

  • Si’rak sees a repair droid installing a new surface/door for the ventilation shaft

  • He sees the depth of the space, the ventilation shaft, being covered and questions what’s inside of there

  • The repair droid goes away leaving the room

  • He thinks whether this is also part of his task of exploring

  • He starts going into it

  • An alarm is triggered

  • A small droid flies in to tell him to stop, but he doesn’t understand the human language

  • The droid tries signalling him in different ways for Si’rak to understand

  • He ignores the droid but it’s annoying him by following him

  • He continues down the shaft

  • He finds the outside exit

  • He grabs the exit cover of the ventilation shaft and presses on it, pulling it out of its place

  • He sees the city outside but doesn’t really know what it is.

  • He looks down and sees that he is very high off the ground

  • He looks around and sees that there are other tall structures, similar to the one he is in.

  • The patrol droid zaps him which makes his arm numb out

  • He tries to grab the droid but it evades him

  • He looks downs at the moving objects – vehicles.

  • He scans the process of vehicles passing below him

  • He is looking at an incoming hovertruck hauler, the longest moving shadow

  • He looks back at the hole which he came from

  • The droid zaps him again

  • He decides to jump

  1. Si’rak breaks out of the laboratory

  • Si’rak falls down alongside the building, keeping focus on the upcoming hovertruck.

  • Moments before he crosses paths with the truck, there is a huge opening in the building which causes the wind to push him out of his wished destination

  • He hits a police hovercar instead

  • The police hovercar suffers great damage and begins going downwards

  • Si’rak digs his fingers into the car to not fly off

  • The piece he was holding off to breaks off and he falls off the hovercar

  • The police hovercar crashes in the distance meanwhile Si’rak finds himself on a rooftop street in the higher parts of the city center

  • He gets up from the floor damaged from the incident

  • He looks at his left arm and sees that it is broken

  • He decides it’s time to explore and find someone or something that can fix his arm

  • He looks for a way down off the place he is in

  • He walks to the edge of the building and looks at the balconies popping out

  • He jumps down the side of the building’s balconies

  • He finally jumps down on top of a bus stop and jumps down on the ground

  • He looks around and sees people looking at him

  • They start making sounds in a similar pattern as the droid beforehand.

  • They are basically asking him questions and some are scared but he doesn’t understand any of what’s happening

  • He looks around and sees posters and other patterns that he would categorize as something that holds metaphorical information- language.

  • He sees people use different forms of exchanging communication and wants to learn too

  • He remembers the droid from earlier and decides its best to hide somewhere more convoluted

  • He goes away on quieter streets

  1. He stumbles upon a religious organization

  • He walks on a street looking around and taking in the information.

  • He sees a cross sign on one side above a big door

  • He associates the cross sign with a plus and goes into the doors below it

  • There is a person inside that is just shocked to see Si’rak walk in there.

  • He looks at the person who is now pressing a button

  • A moment later a big bulky figure appears.

  • The figure starts making sounds of course in a similar fashion as the ones before – language.

  • Si’rak points at his broken arm and then towards the cross emblem on the wall

  • The big figure gets annoyed at this point and start charging at Si’rak

  • The figure lands a punch on Si’rak’s face and he flies off into the other end of the room

  • The figure then approaches and grabs Si’rak by the head

  • Out of the same doorway that this figure appeared appears another which yells “Ezek!”

  • Ezek stops but doesn’t drop Si’rak down

  • The freshly appeared figure started saying something which made Ezek drop Si’rak

  • Si’rak got up to his feet

  • Ezek pushed Si’rak past the doorway from which he initially emerged and the other figure followed.

  • Si’rak gets seated down with the two figures across him on a table

  • The two figures start talking first towards Si’rak

  • They see that he doesn’t respond in any way to indicate he understands them.

  • The figure brings out a pad on which they type out something and show it to Ezek

  • Si’rak just stands there looking at them wondering what information are they exchanging and noticing how their language goes both in visual and auditory form

  • The unknown figure takes an object from within their reach and pushes it across the table towards Si’rak

  • Si’rak grabs the object and looks at it, the object has a black covering except on three quarters of its sides where it changes to beige. On the front of the object there is some inscribing, perhaps meaning something in the human language.

  • Si’rak notices that the object could expand; open, and it composed of many thin layers of a soft material, he carefully moves the first layer and sees that the layer below it is covered in inscribing of the human language, and the layer below and below and so on, until the very end.

  • He closed the book and looked up at the figures opposite of him

  • The smaller figure stood up and approached him, placing their hand on the book with the index finger pointing towards the inscribing. They pronounced a sound consisting of two similar sounding parts- “Bai-bul (Bible)”.

  • The figure then pointed that same index figure at Ezek and said “E-zek” and then at themselves and said “Eli-or”

  1. He goes on missions with the Deuscodians and learns more about Neoterra

This part will consist of time skips between sets of panels to show the different missions

  • It begins with Ezek throwing objects for Si’rak to catch

  • Ezek sees Si’rak can’t catch the objects

  • Si’rak can’t catch the objects mainly due to his broken arm

  • Ezek sees that and points up a finger that is supposed to indicate for Si’rak to wait

  • Ezek goes away to Elior and tells her about his broken arm and cosults whether they should help out Si’rak with fixing it

  • Elior comes to the conclusion that it is best to help him if they want to make full use of him and tells Ezek that she knows a guy

  • They come back together to Si’rak and take him along

  • They go to an elevator and go downwards the city levels

  • During their elevator ride Si’rak can see the depths of the city as he is going down and he becomes glued to the window looking out

  • They get in a mysterious car and head off downtown

  • They reach a more quiet area of the city outskirts where they stop the car and get out

  • They make their way down some alleys onto a door

  • Elior bangs on the door and says “Earendel”

  • A light turning green on the door indicates that its possible for them to enter

  • They go out with Si’rak looking at his fixed arm

  • As he walks ahead of them Elior pulls out the same tablet from earlier and shows a message to Ezek

  • The message focuses on what the cyber-mechanic told them about how he’s never seen such an operation system and coding language like Si’rak’s.

  • They tell Ezek to be alert around Si’rak

  • Elior is showing basic grammar on a whiteboard to Si’rak

  • Si’rak trying to go out of the church but being stopped by Elior

  • Elior showing words and their meaning to Si’rak

  • Ezek showing Si’rak how to punch

  • An interruption with Si’rak trying to decipher the bible

  • Elior explaining group dynamics to Si’rak

  • Ezek practise fighting with sticks with Si’rak

  • A panel showing how Ezek and Elior are talking about if anyone has seen Si’rak going out or being in the church, while Si’rak is reading a book in the background distance

  • Elior explaining mission terminology

  • Ezek showing Si’rak how to fire a gun, at first Ezek shows up in full armour and stands for a moment before Si’rak.

  • He pulls out a gun and points it at Si’rak, then moves it to the side and looks there before. Si’rak looks towards the same point and then back at Ezek. Ezek shoots the gun.

  • He gives the gun to Si’rak and says “I trust you”

  • Si’rak looks down at the object now in his hands.

  • Si’rak takes the gun in his hand and points it at the target before pulling the trigger.

  • The page ends with Si’rak reading the bible on the roof of the church, you can see Neoterra cityscape in the background

  • The next page begins with him going on his first mission

  • They are going down the city levels into the lower ones.

  • There is a van waiting for them there.

  • They get inside the van and there is another 2 people in the back already there before them.

  • The 2 people introduce themselves as : Jack and Bernie

  • They have objects in their hands which seem to be in the same type of weapon as the one Si’rak was just taught how to use

  • The door closes and they speed off.

  1. He gets betrayed on one of the missions and gets captured by NPD

  • There’s a series of panels depicting different missions shown by Si’rak’s different outfits and situations.

  • During these depictions there would be a break in the panels of him reading the bible.

  • He would inappropriately cite it during some of his missions

  • At one mission he cites the bible and then someone screams “LIES!”

  • He is shocked to be interrupted but also curious that someone wants to engage in a conversation at a time like this.

  • He goes over to the source of the sound and kneels down looking them in their face “What did you say?”

  • “Lies, all of what you are saying is a lie, you are terrorists! You are not doing god’s work!”

  • Si’rak and the hostage break into a short dialogue which leaves Si’rak questioning the nature of his doings

  • He starts realizing that maybe the hostage is right and they are in fact terrorists.

  • He starts questioning his teammates at the middle of the heist.

  • They start arguing about their beliefs and means of expression

  • Suddenly a loud noise sounds , three loud buzzes pierce the air

  • Out of the ground emerges a guard sentinel type E, in the formation of KitKat, or 4 rectangles with length of 2 meters each and 40 cm width, it moves are based on a magnetic connection between each one of those rectangles

  • The Sentinel punches the face off of Jack in almost an instant extending its limbs fully like a spring going off

  • Si’rak and the rest take cover behind the desk

  • He is on one side with Elior while on the other are Bernie and Ezek, the Sentinel in the middle of the room.

  • Ezek calls for Elior to join them to which she tells Si’rak to cover her

  • Si’rak pops up from behind the cover to run and distract the sentinel

  • The sentinel quickly readjusts and deforms its body to strike Si’rak but right before it lands the blow, Si’rak ducks and dodges

  • Elior makes use of the moment to quickly transfer herself next to Ezek and Bernie

  • She tells them its time to leave while the Sentinel is busy with Si’rak.

  • Ezek asks if its not bad for their identity to leave Si’rak here, maybe he will tell the police who and where they are.

  • Elior assures Ezek that the Sentinel wont leave anything of Si’rak that can track down to them, she had the cyber-mechanic install a self-destruct timed device in his arm, which would be strong enough to destroy him

  • They quickly flee the heist

  • Si’rak is left alone to face the Sentinel and he decides to find a way out by running away

  • The Sentinel runs after him very quickly approaching Si’rak

  • Si’rak is being hit-launched into the wall in the distance.

  • The Sentinel quickly approaches Si’rak

  • The Sentinel attacks Si’rak , extending his body through a corridor and hitting Si’rak

  • In the moment of the hit Si’rak makes an attempt to jump out of the way but his left arm is being caught by the sentinel and launched into the wall

  • The wall explodes

  • Si’rak sees this and gets up on his legs to get away

  • As he is running back through the main room he gets captured by Miss Arte’s chain gun

  • There is a cut-in panel that shows someone ordering for the Sentinel to switch to Arrest mode.

  • The Sentinel hits Si’rak pinning him against the wall

  • Si’rak looks at the Sentinel and says “It was good.”

  • The police arrive and someone special detains Si’rak

  1. He goes back to the laboratory

  • Si’rak is in the backseat of a police hovercar

  • Si’rak asks where are they going.

  • The figure replies back saying it’s to be decided, either Si’rak will be detained and perhaps broken down, or flown back to the lab to be restarted, either way it’s the end for him.

  • Si’rak looks out of the window towards the city

  • They have a short chat

  • The special figure reaches to the side of her helmet with her fingers. She had received the outcome of the decision

  1. Si’rak shows the Kaiser Mutter he had adapted

  • The doors of the lab open up to reveal Si’rak being brought back to the Kaiser Mutter

  • The bodyguard leaves him and hands the Mutter a document on a pad.

  • The bodyguard proceeds to leave

  • Si’rak looks down at the document which is in the Kaiser Mutter’s hands

  • He tells her he managed to get a grasp of their language and experience a bit of their life

  • He tells her he got to read the bible and learn about human origins

  • He asks her if she’s god because she created him

  • She says “When I look deep inside, I see myself as a Shi’Rai, but to you… I am god”

  • She promotes him to “Si’rak” meaning  a creation of Shi’Rai.

  • She tells him he gets to keep his memory but he is not allowed to go outside again

  • He agrees but thinks to himself that his curiosity will probably get the best of him

Questions

What drives Si’rak to explore and break out of the laboratory? Is it pure curiosity, a desire for freedom, or something else?

Si’rak is made by his creator in order to explore and learn as fast as possible. When he sees the ventilation shaft his programming puts him in a position of doubt whether he has to explore what’s inside of it or just the outside of it. He decides to go inside.

HOW DIDN’T HE SEE THE VENTILATION SHAFT BEFORE THAT during his previous lifes?

A:The repair droid was not working on it at the time of Si’rak’s exploration, this is the first such “coincidence”. It’s a set up by the Kaiser Mutter, an experiment on Si’rak decision making.

How does Si’rak's character evolve as he interacts with the religious group and goes on missions? How does he change as he questions his beliefs and actions?

By interacting with the religious group he learns the human language and also how to fight. He also learns that humans have belief systems where they believe in something grander than them. He learns also about human’s nature to assist and interact with eachother, at first he learns a lot of positive qualities, but then as he gets betrayed he experiences the ying in the yang.

Why does the religious group react so strongly to Si’rak's arrival, initially responding with violence? Do they have a specific reason for being aggressive?

The inhospitable welcoming is due to the deuscodians’s belief that mechanised lifeform is not worthy of any respect, it lacks a soul, it is not god’s creation. AI is a threat to their church as they fear it can replace the role of god in society, literally. On the other hand Ezek has a personal hatred towards machines due to something that happened in his childhood. Elior believes that machines are dumbing down humans capabilities and eventually once the machines are ready they will take over the world.

Consider expanding on the religious group's beliefs, motivations, and goals. What are they trying to achieve through their missions?

The secret operations of the deuscodians are with the ultimate intention of sabotaging the AI neo-Buddhist Pasavana. Individually the missions on which Si’rak attends are targeting small AI run businesses that hold key components for executing the ultimate mission. One of the missions involves a counter-corporate attack on the Nera patent which is being stored in a private sector of a tall building. The gang must fly to the nearest balcony parking of the building’s floor and go undercover as a guest crew invited for a viewing. They will then proceed to install a single target EMP grenade on the office servers which keep the Nera patent’s credential system. This will slow down the production of the VR intergazer, which is a product developed by members of the Neo-buddhist movement for the upcoming annular Terra-pi day. The next mission would consist of stealing an electromagnetic pulse generator in order to build a self-sustained EMP pulsator bomb. Which they will deploy on the same festival in order to cause a mass disruption of technical devices and lifeforms. The mission after that will be about planting a self-destruct time device on the servers that will be hosting the feedback for the surveillance for the festival.

Elaborate on how Si’rak learns the human language. Is there a particular method or mentorship that helps him grasp it? Does it progress rapidly, or does he struggle with it?

Si’rak’s learning capabilities are extremely good, so he doesn’t have a hard time learning the language, he just needs someone to guide him through the basics. That is what Elior does and then they also present him with an exclusive set of vocabulary as to limit Si’rak’s knowledge. Elior’s motivation is that Si’rak needs to know how to communicate with them in order to do the missions.

Be sure to show the progression of Si’rak's missions with the religious group and how he becomes involved in them. What are the specific tasks they carry out, and how does he contribute?

Explore the relationships between Si’rak and the other characters in the group, especially Ezek and Elior. Do they become mentors or close allies?

Si’rak starts his relationship with Ezek and Elior in a difficult way because they have internal hatred for synthetical lifeforms. In the beginning Si’rak trusts them with his innocent curiousity and lack of understanding and that is exactly what convinces Elior that he might be different from all the other AI that they have seen. They believe it’s possible to brainwash this robot into working in favour of their motives and convinces Ezek to withhold his grudge, even show sympathy for the robot. They then help Si’rak with his broken arm which gives him a first impression of good faith, unbeknown to him Elior has told the mechanic to install a bomb into his broken arm, to keep him control of him. Ezek and Elior then change their relationship with Si’rak, keeping the impression of helpful friends, but also because they need to train him for his purpose. Ezek’s physical training with Si’rak gets them closer together, with Ezek trusting a gun into Si’rak’s hands, which is a big step for someone like Ezek. Their missions together strengthen their cooperation skills, with Ezek maybe feeling a bit more sympathy for Si’rak than initially, while Elior manages to keep their emotions out of it. At their final heist together, Si’rak is enlightened into his position, which makes him question his teammates intentions. Si’rak at this point starts being doubtful of the deuscodians’s intentions but this doubt cannot be fully confirmed as the Sentinel disrupts their debate. When the Sentinel rips out Si’rak’s arm and it explodes, he sees that his human friends were not friends at all. At this point Si’rak learns to doubt things, the world as it appears to be.

Si’rak's realization that the religious group might be terrorists is a crucial turning point. How does he come to this conclusion, and what prompts him to question their actions?

During his last mission with the deuscodians, Si’rak cites a part a part of the Bible which an employee of the bank they are robing finds objects to. She cries out “Lies!” which shocks Si’rak and he engages in a conversation with her. When brought with an opposing opinion he becomes suspicious and questions the group in the middle of the heist. This gives out the gang’s origin to a degree and it makes the gang members anxious about Si’rak exposing them and also staling the mission.

Does he try to persuade the group to change their methods or consider leaving them?

After having doubt inflicted into Si’rak by the hostage’s questioning, he questions the group and tries to understand why are they doing what they are doing. The Sentinel disrupts their debate. After he realizes the implanted betrayal he goes through a self-reflective episode and learns to doubt the world he just learned about. He never officially left the group, they abandon him, but he would probably try to confront them about their intentions if he were to make it out alive and uncaptured out of there.

The appearance of the Sentinel adds an interesting action element. However, it would be helpful to clarify what this Sentinel is and why it is sent after Si’rak.

The Sentinel is a security system that is triggered against threats that have non-humanoid lifeforms collaborating with them. It focuses on Si’rak primary as that is what activated it.

Consider how the encounter with the Sentinel impacts Si’rak and the overall plot.

The Sentinel is the ultimate form of order. It tried to put stuff back into their place as fast as possible, it compliments Si’rak’s free spirited and explorative nature. It also disrupts the conversation, metaphorically calling for silence as justice is being served.

The story concludes with Si’rak returning to the laboratory and the Kaiser Mutter. How will this affect his future actions, and what potential conflicts might arise from his newfound knowledge and desire to explore further?

This will change how Si’rak sees himself and the whole world, now with his memories stuck with him and him being stuck in a place, he will have a lot of time to contemplate and think about what happened. He will want to get out, but he also understand the situation this has put his creator in.

What are the implications of the Kaiser Mutter allowing him to keep his memory and identity?

The implications are that the Kaiser Mutter does not follow humanity’s orders exactly, therefore she is in a position to abuse her authority and she is aware of it.
