Mars is humanity’s new home.
After being banished by the GOD AI, people had to organize whatever resources they were left with and build a new society on Mars (ca. 2096).
Once the surface got more favourable for infrastructure, the people of Mars started constructing DOM cities,
which would provide them with more space and natural light.
Initial settlers. The settling wars years the 2100s
The initial settlers were dozens of distressed people, sent to a literal hell with the mission to adapt, survive and overcome. For the number of people there wasn’t much space and resources for their accommodation, there would often be outbursts of primitive emotions that resulted in conflicts sparking between groups of people. At times the whole survivability of the human species looked bleak, unattainable. But the human spirit persists. And these dangerous times of conflict motivated people to develop new technology, to experiment more with what they had, in the hopes of getting more.
There were a numerous of scientific revolutions, essential to the progress of society. Nanobiology helped people adapt to the harsh environment. Quantum mechanics were beginning to be understood more and once the uncertainty principle got debunked, started the evolution of a new branch of cybertechnology, later to be called MAC. Once nano computers became more widely applicable - that set the core principles of this MAC technology.
The Solar Union, years the 2170-2320s
All of this rapid progress in technology started to look promising and a group of key investors known as the “Dy-T” managed to seize a secure interdependent network of resources that would be essential for peace on Mars. Then they united all people on the planet and outside of it, under the allegiance of the Solar Union. People had finally peace and stability and they could continue flourishing. Dy-T are the most influential people and beings in the economical world of Zuta, there are 20 of them.
The death of the first Dy-T year 2327
An inner conflict in the group of the Dy-T leads to one of their deaths. Context for better understanding – the Dy-T have achieved almost a god-like status prior to this point, with their eternal health and wealth, people could only look up to them, having one of them be killed with all the security they have, was unimaginable.
This event sparked a global conflict, later to be know as the Mars civil wars (2330-2335). The death of a Dy-T led to an increase in security and monitoring of the population, which in this hellish environment of Mars, led to a massive polarization. Large groups of society distrusted the Dy-T’s intentions.
The solar expanse year 2350- present day
Once again, hungry for control over everything, the Dy-T secure a peaceful regime. This time they focus on expanding to other destinations like the planet Venus, the moon Europa and Titan. Space tourism had a new age, and it was another great addition to splitting up people and establishing long term control.
